2024 marked a milestone that fills us with immense pride and gratitude. Ten years ago, we set out with a vision to create something fundamentally different at the service of people, and thanks to the dedication, innovation, and trust of our incredible team and clients, we’ve come further than we ever imagined. This journey has been one of learning, growing, and continuous transformation, and none of it would have been possible without the amazing people we’ve had the privilege to work with. OUR FIRST YEAR
The first year at LACE was a dynamic journey of establishing core values, building a brand, and delivering client success. Launched with a vision to create a fresh approach to consulting, the team quickly took on its first client, right at the outset. This early win brought excitement and purpose as the team juggled client demands while defining LACE’s identity and unique market positioning.
The team shaped foundational values that remain central to LACE today. The team’s vision has continued to guide their culture and growth, setting the stage for the next chapters in the company’s journey.

2016
THE FIRST JOINERS
2016 was a milestone year for us as we welcomed our first two associates to help drive multiple client projects. By year end, we were thrilled to have contracted with ten clients and hosted our very first networking event—an exciting start to what has become a regular highlight for our community! It’s a reminder of the foundation we built for future success.

2017
OUR FIRST LARGE-SCALE EVENT
2017 was marked by the launch of our first large-scale event, People_Tech, further cementing our commitment to being a truly independent, tech-agnostic HR consultancy. We also laid the groundwork for what our business stands for today by forming our very first CSR team—marking the start of our journey in giving back and making a broader impact.

2018
OUR FIRST OFFICE
In 2018, we hit another big milestone by opening our first official office at the Leathermarket, complete with our own corporate branding and colours. It was also a year of growth for the team, as we brought on more talent and introduced key business functions like Operations, Finance, and Research. We continued to expand our industry-agnostic approach, working across a diverse range of sectors, from fashion and financial services to hospitality, transport, advertising and more.

2019
BECOMING THOUGHT LEADERS
In 2019, we solidified our role as thought leaders in the HR space by launching our first whitepaper and hosting more industry and CPO-focused events. Our commitment to CSR stayed strong with ongoing initiatives, keeping it central to our company culture.

Despite facing challenges, our commitment to being fundamentally different, adaptable to our clients’ needs and supportive of our team led us to finish the year with new clients and a renewed sense of optimism for the future post-pandemic.
