Challenges
The client plays a critical role in preparing for and responding to health threats, saving lives and protecting livelihoods. Health Protection Operations (HP Ops) are responsible for managing effective threat responses.
HP Ops introduced the Engaging for Success (E4S) people experience programme to improve their employee experience, as results from the annual people survey and ongoing staff engagement showed that was a clear need for improvement within a workforce still suffering from post-Covid fatigue and trauma.
How LACE helped
Insights
Our blueprint integrates leadership vision through nine interviews and taps into employee insights via virtual focus groups with ~50 attendees. We discussed promoting the future vision and strategies for E4S success.
Ambition & journey
We aligned with the client’s ‘people promise and mission’ on ambition. ‘From’ and ‘to’ statements illustrated E4S ambition and current challenges. Initiatives linked to eight workstreams showcase the journey towards ’empowered people.’
People Stories
Drawing on real insights from HP Ops employees, we’ve crafted four relatable stories that mirror the workforce. These narratives showcase how E4S can genuinely enhance employee experiences and tackle current challenges.
Prioritisation and Planning
We assisted the E4S team in identifying vital themes through PX insights, leader interviews, and focus groups. Selecting prioritisation principles through focus groups helped drive the planning for delivering the proposed initiatives.
Tracking Impact and Metrics
In five critical areas, regular reporting is positioned to demonstrate substantial impact using agreed success metrics. The quarterly dashboard emphasises achievements and where E4S is making a positive impact.
Embedding the identity
We crafted a distinct visual identity to promote engagement and empower employees as advocates. Planning to use varied channels for transparent and clear messaging and integration of the new people experience.
