How should you use data to tell your EX revolution story?

In our latest EX revolution campaign video, Chris from LACE is joined by Toby Culshaw, Global Head of Talent Intelligence: Worldwide Amazon Stores, to talk about why it’s not just important to be able to interpret and understand people data, but to be able to build out a compelling narrative that underlines critical business decisions. Telling effective stories that help you demonstrate the value of what you want to do is vitally important when you are talking to the C-Suite and Toby talks about the need to focus on business outcomes and work backwards from what business leaders are trying to achieve. He suggests that HR professionals should not only consider long-term strategic plans but also focus on what needs to be done in the next quarter. He also points out that many business leaders are not aware of macro trends in HR and labour market economics, and HR professionals need to challenge them to understand the impact on their organisations.

How much better does HR need to get at speaking the language of business and simplifying messages? This is just one of a number of questions Chris and Toby delve into, which you can see by watching the video below.
