Abi East, People and Workplace Executive Director

Abi began her career as a graduate HR trainee at Accenture, where she held a number of in-house roles before moving to the client-facing Human Performance practice. After almost a decade with Accenture, Abi moved to Hay Group (now part of Korn Ferry) where she was the UK HR Director for 4 years. Since then Abi has been an independent consultant, helping her clients address a wide variety of people challenges and undertaking senior HR and talent roles across many industries (professional services, FMCG, travel, retail, financial services, insurance, housing, entertainment, education, property and electronics as well as the not-for-profit sector).

Having worked with LACE as an Associate on a number of projects, Abi joined LACE to set up the People team and is now responsible for People and Workplace at LACE.

Outside work Abi loves to spend time with her family and friends, and if travel and good food are involved, so much the better! She also loves to cook, read and walk!
